Subsequent group assignment

If you've already set up nele.ai in your organization and want to organize your users into groups afterwards, you have two easy options:

For group assignment to work smoothly, groups must can already be created during setup in nele.ai. This is the only way they are later available in all relevant areas and can be easily assigned.

1. Assigning groups to invited users via email

  1. You've already invited your users via email.
  2. Create an Excel or CSV file in which you list users' email addresses, for example by desired groups.
  3. Open the administration area in nele.ai at: https://manage.dev.nele.ai/users
  4. Copy a department's email addresses into the “Search” search box at the top of the user overview.
  5. Important: Only separate email addresses in the search field with a space — don't use commas or other characters!
  6. After insertion, nele.ai shows the appropriate users.
  7. Select all users and assign the desired group.
  8. Repeat this process for all other departments to group all users correctly.

2. Assigning groups via single sign-on (SSO) and Active Directory

  1. In the SSO area, you can assign users retrospectively, for example using Active Directory groups.
  2. This is how group assignment can be implemented by using the SAML scheme to create existing groups http://schemas.microsoft.com/ws/2008/06/identity/claims/groups can be assigned by your SSO system.
  3. One or more nele.ai groups can be assigned to each SAML group.
