On October 21, 2026, two globally critical security vulnerabilities were discovered in the widely used programming language PHP, known as PHP2Shell (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619).
Under certain conditions, these vulnerabilities could have allowed attackers to remotely execute malicious code on affected servers. The German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) also warned of the high security risk and recommended immediate protective measures.
To best protect your data and our systems, we decided to temporarily take the nele.ai platform offline as a precaution.
Following the release of the official PHP security updates, we applied the relevant patches and verified our systems. The two known vulnerabilities have been resolved on our affected systems.
